Hüttenarbeiter im Gespräch Zentralbild Sturm 29.4.1954 Aktivisten des Eisenhüttenkombinats. Am Vortage des 1. Mai werden in den Betrieben der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik die besten Arbeiter als Aktivisten ausgezeichnet. Im Eisenhüttenkombinat werden die Kollegen Görtz, Culek und Fabian vom Hochofen V als Aktivisten ausgezeichnet. Der Hochofen V liegt gegenwärtig im Wettbewerb der Hochöfner zu Ehren des 1. Mai an erster Stelle. UBz: vlnr Kollege Rudolf Culek, der als Hilfsschmelzer eingestellt wurde und jetzt als Möllermeister arbeitet; Kollege Culek legt die Hochöfnerprüfung ab und besucht jetzt den Meisterkursus. Kollege Gerd Görtz, der in seiner Arbeitsmoral für seinen Kollegen ein Vorbild ist und Überall dort einspringt, wo es nötig ist. Kollege Willi Fabian, der als erster Wassermann arbeitet und im vergangenen Jahr die Hochöfnerprüfung mit gut bestanden hat.
