Gewöhnlich hat der Kunde der Bank nur am Schalter zu tun und sieht nicht, was dahinter vorgeht und was für eine Riesenorganisation hinter einer modernen Grossbank steht. Unsere Bilderserie gibt einen Einblick in den Alltagsbetrieb eines solchen Institutes und veranschaulicht die weitgehende Mechanisierung und Rationalisierung, die heutzutage nötig ist, um den Betrieb rentabel zu gestalten.
Die Bilder sind in den Räumen der Deutschen Bank und Disconto-Gesellschaft, Berlin, aufgenommen. (Zentrale).

P & A Bild zeigt: Jeden Morgen kommen etwa 28.000 Postsendungen an (45.000 etwa werden jeden Tag abgeschickt), die früh geöffnet und nach einem System in die einzelnen Abteilungen weitergeleitet werden.
