For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB-Thieme-6.3.90- Karl-Marx-Stadt: Wahlkampf- "Mit diesem Kopf hinter mir habe ich keine Probleme..."- so Willy Brandt, Ehrenvorsitzender der sozialdemokratischen Parteien beider deutschen Staaten, vor 150.000 auf einer SPD-Wahlkundgebung. Der Redner wandte sich gegen einen Anschluß der DDR an die BRD und sprach sich für einen Zusammenschluß auf der Grundlage der Gleichberechtigung aus.
