For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Ingenieur Schiffsgetriebe inspizierend Zentralbild Schmiljun 6.6.1953 In der volkseigenen Maschinenfabrik und Eisengiesserei Dresau. UBz: Konstrukteur Bruno Strube (rechts) hat erheblichen Anteil beim Aufbau der Produktion des Schiffbaus. Er entwickelte Schiffgetriebe für die Hochseefischereiflotte und erfüllte termingemäß einen Entwicklungsauftrag für den Bau von Handelsschiffen, die für die Volksrepublik China bestimmt sind. Koll. Strube, der am 1.5.1953 als Aktivist ausgezeichnet wurde, bespricht mit dem Monteur Graul die Fertigung von Schiffsgetrieben.
