For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leipzig, Grafik zur Luftbelastung ADN-ZB Grubitzsch 13.11.89 Leipzig: Umweltdaten - Aktuelle Tageskarten zur Luftbelastung mit Schwefeldioxid werden in der Bezirkszentrale des lufthygienischen Überwachungssystems im Bezirkshygieneinstitut Leipzig ermittelt. Alle 30 Minuten laufen hier Daten von 14 Meßstationen des Bezirkes zusammen. Zwecks Vergleichbarkeit mit den zulässigen Maximalkonztrationen werden die aktuellen Werte ohne Zuhilfenahme meteorologischer Daten in einer Kombination von automatischen Messungen und Kürzestfrist-Immissionsprognosen erstellt. Seit Monatsbeginn werden die Daten jede Woche veröffentlicht. - siehe auch 1989-1113-1N und 2N.
