Steffen Dittmann, Frank Heine, Andre Weßel ADN-ZB Lehmann 19.3.89 Bez. Halle: XXVI. DDR-Cross-Meisterschaften- Überraschungssieger auf der langen Distanz von 11,5 km wurde Steffen Dittmann (Nr. 745) vom ASK Vorwärts Potsdam. Er verwies den favorisierten dreifachen DDR-Meister Frank Heine (M.), ebenfalls ASK Vorwärts Potsdam, auf Rang zwei, Dritter wurde Andre Weßel (SC Dynamo Berlin- Nr. 757).
