Von 1981 bis 1988 verbesserten sich durch großzügige Bauleistungen die Wohnverhältnisse für etwa 11 600 Einwohner der Hafenstadt. Anteil daran haben auch die Abgeordneten der ständigen Kommission Bauwesen im Stadtparlament - hier im Pausengespräch während der Stadtverordnetenversammlung.
