For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Lauta, Aluminiumwerk
ADN-ZB/Weisflog 9.2.89 Bez. Cottbus: Wettbewerb Im Aluminiumwerk "Albert Zimmermann" Lauta wurde im zurückliegenden Jahr ein Rohkohleäquivalent von über 335.000 Tonnen eingespart. Diese Summe würde ausreichen, das Großkraftwerk Boxberg vier Tage lang zu betreiben. Qualitätsarbeit der Kollegen des Anodendienstes an den Öfen trug mit zu diesem Ergbnis bei. Die Aluminiumherstellung gehört weltweit zu den energieaufwendigsten Prozessen. In diesem Jahr wollen die Kollektive der Lautaer Hütte insgesamt 1.600 Megawattstunden Elektronenergie einsparen. |
