For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Rostock, Boxländerkampf DDR-BRD, Eröffnung
ADN-ZB Sindermann 21.11.87 Rostock: Boxländerkampf DDR-BRD-In der Rostocker Sport- und Kongreßhalle wurde am 20.11.87 der Boxländerkampf zwischen der DDR und der BRD ausgetragen. Zur Begrüßung wurden beide Nationalhymnen intoniert. Die BRD (r.) trat mit 11 Amateurboxern zu dieserm ersten Vergleich mit der DDR an. Überlegen mit 20:4 Punkten entschied die Nationalstaffel der DDR diesen Länderkampf zu ihren Gunsten. |
