For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB Uhlemann 15.8.87 Berlin: Sonderfahrten der S-Bahn mit einem historischen Trieb- und Steuerwagen des Baujahres 1927-28 und einem S-Bahnmusterzug der Baureihe 270 zwischen den Bahnhöfen Alexanderplatz und Mahlsdorff lockten viele Schaulustig und Eisenbahnfreunde an. Eine kleine Eisenbahnausstellung am Bahnhof Mahlsdorf, die auch eine Diesellok 118 zeigte, rundete die Solidaritätsveranstaltung der Zeitung "Fahrt frei" und der Reichsbahndirektion Berlin ab. Im Führerstand erklärt Reichsbahndirektor Karl-Heinz Borkenhagen den kleinen Besuchern wie eine große Lok zu bedienen ist.
