For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Sportwerbegruppe der ESG Lokomotive Elsterwerda, Probe ADN-ZB Weisflog 22.7.87 Bez. Cottbus: Vorbereitung VIII. Turn- und Sportfest und XI. Kinder- und Jugendspartakiade der DDR -Bereits zum achten Mal dabei: die vor 34 Jahren gegründete Sportwerbegruppe der ESG Lokomotive Elsterwerda. "Spitzen"-Leistungen zeigen auch diese Mädchen innerhalb des einstündigen Programms mit rund 30 Darbietungen. Das Kollektiv ist das erfolgreichste Sportensemble der DDR. Sechsmal Gold bei Arbeiterfestspielen und mehrmals Sieger bei DDR-Ausscheiden der Sportwerbegruppen.
