For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rostock, Überseehafen, Ausflugsschiff, "Weiße Flotte", Frachter ADN-ZB Sindermann 30.7.86-zei - Rostock: Hafenrundfahrt - Winzig wirken die kleinen Schiffe der Weißen Flotte, wenn sie bei ihrem täglichen "Törn" im Hafen an den großen "Pötten" vorbeikommen. Täglich heißt es rund 30 mal Leinen los für die 19 Fahrgastschiffe. Bei den Ausflugsfahrten auf der Warnow und der Ostee, im Berufsverkehr und im Fährbetrieb wurden rund 4, 7 Millionen Fahrgäste 1985 befördert.
