For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Großobringen, Ernte, Kontrolle durch Feuerwehr ADN-ZB Ludwig-28.7.86-St. Bez. Erfurt: Brandschutzmaßnahmen bei der Getreidernte- Seit 24 Jahren kontrolliert der Abschnittsbevollmächtigte, Leutnant Hans Ritter (l.), während der Erntearbeiten die notwendigen Maßnahmen des Brandschutzes und der Betriebssicherheit von Ernte- und Transporttechnik. Hier im Gespräch mit Komplexleiter Rudolf Preuß vom VE (P) Großobringen im Kreis Weimar Land. Die Landarbeiter des Volksgutes haben von rund 3 100 Hektar Getreide zu ernten, Stroh zu bergen und die erforderlichen Maehfolgearbeiten auszuführen. ( Siehe Foto 1986-0728-22 N)
