For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Dresden, Friedrichstadt, Katholischer Friedhof ADN-ZB Häßler 15.11.1983 Dresden: Mit seinen Grabmalen des Barock, Rokoko und Klassizismus gehört der Innere Katholische Friedhof in Dresden-Friedrichstadt zu den kulturhistorischen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Bedeutende Persönlichkeiten, die in der Elbestadt wirkten, liegen auf diesem bereits 1720 angelegten Friedhof begraben. Dazu gehören u.a. Carl Maria von Weber, der Bruder Casanovas sowie die Malerfamilie Donadini. Im Hintergrund die 1728-30 errichtete Matthäuskirche.
