For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB-Lehmann-11.11.83-Ldg-Bez. Halle: Tag des Chemiearbeiters-Reinold Lämmerhirt, seit einem Vierteljahrhundert im VEB Chemische Werke Buna, arbeitet seit zwölf Jahren als Schichtmeister im Bereich Instandhaltung der Karbid-Fabrik. Zum Tag des Chemiearbeiters wird er als Verdienter Chemiearbeiter ausgezeichnet. Durch seine Einsatzbereitschaft und die Leistung seines Kollektivs gelang es ihnen, die geplante Rekonstruktion des Ofens 7 um acht Stunden zu unterbieten. Dadurch konnten die Kumpel 50 Tonnen Karbid zusätzlich produzieren. - siehe auch 1983-1111-25N -
