For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leipzig, Jugendstunde in einer Kunstgalerie ADN-ZB Grubitzsch 24.6.82 Leipzig: Atelier. Ein beliebter Treffpunkt für Kunstgespräche ist die Leipziger Galerie am Sachsenplatz mit ihren Ausstellungen zeitgenössischer bildender Kunst. Wie die Schüler der 8. Klasse der Egon--Erwin-Kisch-Oberschule nutzen viele Jugendweiheteilnehmer, Studentengruppen sowie Kollektive aus Betrieben und Institutionen dieses Kunstzentrum, um sich mit Werken der Malerei und Grafik auseinanderzusetzen. Gisela Schulz (l), stellvertretende Galerieleiterin, führt solche Gespräche. Seit ihrer Gründung beherbergte die Galerie 100 Ausstellungen, u.a. mit Werken von Werner Tübke, Arno Mohr, Willi Sitte, Max Schwimmer und mit Arbeiten von Bauhaus-Künstlern.
