For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Gera, Häselburg, Wohnblocks Zum Beitrag: Modernes Wohnen über alten Höhlen- Geraer Häselburg-Wohngebiet gut in alten Stadtkern eingepaßt. ADN-ZB Kasper-27.5.1982-ha. dieses Neubaugebiet steht mitten im alten Stadtkern der Thüringer Bezirksstadt Gera. "Häselburg" hat man es genannt, obwohl nicht mit Sicherheit nachzuweisen ist, daß hier jemals eine Burg gestanden hat. Doch nach mündlichen Überlieferungen soll an dieser Stelle im frühen Mittelalter eine Feste gestanden haben, die diesen Namen trug. Die Fünfgeschosser sind gut in die intime Atmosphäre des alten Stadtgebiets eingepaßt worden. (Hierzu gehören auch 1982-0527-301-302N)
