For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Gera, Bauarbeiter ADN-ZB Kasper 19.4.1982 Gewerkschaft-Gera: Delegierter zum 10. FDGB-Kongreß ist der 58jährige Ausbaubrigadier Alfred Werner aus dem Wohnungsbaukombinat Gera. Die Handwerker in seinem Kollektiv wollen durch gewissenhaftes Arbeiten Tapeten, Farben und Leim einsparen und die Verlustquoten senken. Wertmäßig soll allein die Tapeteneinsparung dem Bedarf entsprechen, der zum Ausgestalten von 50 Wohnungen notwendig wäre.
