Mehr als drei Millionen Touristen besuchen jährlich die Messestadt. Auch als Kongreßstadt hat Leipzig große Bedeutung. Es handelt sich nicht um die Goethestraße, sondern den Martin-Luther-Ring, im Vordergrund links das Gebäude der Deutschen Bank, dahinter die Schillerstraße. Richtig muss die Bildunterschrift heißen: „Universitätshochhaus ... hier vom Martin-Luther-Ring aus gesehen“.
