For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Ingenieur am Reissbrett zeichnend Zentralbild Köhler Mü-Ho 10.7.1952 Zur II. Patteikonferenz der SED. Die Aktivisten Imgard Richter, Laborlehrling, von VEB Siemens- Plania sagte: "Für mich ist die Parteikonferenz der SED von grosser Wichtigkeit, denn ich weiss, dass auf ihr die Interessen aller Jugendlichen am besten vertreten werden. Ich erwarte von ihr, dass sie Beschlüsse fasst, die das Frieden sichern und die Wiedervereinigung Deutzschlands fördern.UBz:Der Konstrukteur Horst Freitag von VEB Siemens-Plania sagte" Die II. Parteikonferenz wird uns Möglichkeiten zeigen, wie die Intelligenz dazu beitragen kann, den Sozialismus zu verwirklichen. Ich begrüsse die II.Parteikonferenz der SED und bin überzeugt davon, dass sie das beste für das deutsche Volk tun wird."
