For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Bergarbeiter im Bergmannskittel Zentralbild Köhler-Gielow Str-26.5.52 Stellungnahme zur Note der Sowjetregierung vom 25.5.52 an die Westmächte.Aus der Note geht eindeutig hervor, dass die Regierung der Sowjetunion alles daransetzt, Deutschland einen Friedensvertrag zu geben. Am deutschen Volke liegt es, ihr den nötigen Nachdruck zu verleihen.Wenn es sein muss, werden wir unsere Errungenschaften mit der Waffe in der Hand verteidigen.Dies ist die Meinung des Bergarbeiters und Aktvisten Friedich Burghardt und Bruno Büfflers, beide aus Sangerhausen.
