For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Pietsch/ 23.1.1952 - Landarbeiter besuchen die Stadt Rostock

Damit die Stadt- und Landbevölkerung einander näherkommt und die Landarbeiter Konzerte hören, Theatervorstellungen sehen und Kunstausstellungen besuchen können, hat der FDGB-Feriendienst den Landarbeitern einen kostenlosen Urlaub in den Städten der DDR ermöglicht. Im Winterhalbjahr 1951-52 werden insgesamt 450 Landarbeiter an einem 10-tägigen Aufenthalt in den Städten Erfurt, Halle, Dresden, Leipzig, Berlin und Rostock teilnehmen. Vom 7.-15. Januar weilten in Rostock 20 Landarbeiter aus den verschiedensten Gegenden der DDR.

UBz.: In dem schönsten Hotel von Rostock waren die Gäste untergebracht. Hier bei der täglichen Zeitungsschau. Sie sprechen über den von der Volkskammer gebilligten Wahlgesetzentwurf für gesamtdeutsche Wahlen.
