For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rostock, Überseehafen, Verladearbeiten, Nacht ADN-ZB Sindermann 21.6.1983 Für Bezieher des ADN-Reportagedienstes! Zum Beitrag: Was Seeleute im Seehafen Rostock sehen - Eine Hafenrundfahrt mit dem Ausflugsschiff "Undine" Der Rostocker Überseehafen hat in reichlich zwei Jahrzehnten über die mehr als 170 Schiffe zählende Handelsflotte der Dustfracht- Seereederei Rostock und viele ausländische Frachter Verbindungen zu 400 Häfen auf allen Kontinenten gehabt. Seit hier 1960 das erste Schiff abgefertigt wurde, haben immerhin 53 700 Frachter aus 65 Ländern etwa 230 Millionen Tonnen Außenhandelsgüter gelöscht oder geladen. Von 15 auf 23 Millionen Tonnen soll mit dem weiteren Ausbau die Jahresumschlagskapazität erweitert werden. (Hierzu gehört auch 1983-0621-301N)
