For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Bernau, Schloss Lanke, Tbc-Krankenhaus, Nachtschwester Illus Klein 11.1.51 Kampf der Tuberkulose. Das Schloß Lanke bei Bernau, früher von Adligen bewohnt, ist heute ein modern eingerichtetes Tbc-Krankenhaus und bietet mit seiner herrlichen Umgebung den Genesung-Suchenden eine ideale Erholungsstätte. Neue technische Apparate zur Bekämpfung von Tuberkulose beschleunigen den Heilprozeß der Patienten. UBz: Ein Lichtzeichen ruft die Nachtschwester an das Bett des Patienten zur Hilfeleistung.
