| Description |
Deutsch: Das alte im Dezember 1908 eröffnete Grand Hotel Esplanade in der Bellevuestraße 16-18A. Im 2. Weltkrieg stark zerstört. Reste des Hotels wurden in den 1990ern in das Sony Center eingegliedert: Der Kaisersaal wurde dorthin als Ganzes verschoben, der Frühstückssaal abgebaut, restauriert und im Sony Center wieder aufgebaut. Palmenhof und Silbersaal sind am Ort geblieben, allerdings stammt nur der Marmorfußboden aus der Vorkriegszeit. (Das Hotel ist nicht zu verwechseln mit dem neuen Standort Grand Hotel Esplanade am Lützowufer, dort seit 1988.) |
