For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Die grosse Trauerfeier für die im Weltkriege gefallenen 13000 Helden der bayerischen Armee fand am 13. November [1927] am Gefallenen-Denkmal in München statt. Anwesend waren Vertreter der bayerischen Regierung sowie Mitglieder des ehemaligen bayerischen Fürstenhauses. Eine Traditionskompanie der Reichswehr leistete die Ehrenbezeugungen.
Die Ehrenkompanie der Reichswehr feuert eine dreifache Salve über das Gefallenen-Denkmal vor dem Armee-Museum in München ab.
