Description
Deutsch: Diese Fotografie ist das älteste Bilddokument aus der Geschichte des BDH Bundesverband Rehabilitation unseres Verbandes. Sie entstand 1921, ein Jahr nach der Gründung als Kriegsopferverband. Zu sehen sind Mitglieder des „Verein deutscher hirnverletzter Krieger in Bayern“ im Garten der ehemaligen Königlich-Gynäkologischen Universitäts-Poliklinik, dem sogenannten Reisingerianum in der Sonnenstraße in München. Hierher hatte das Bayerische Kriegsministerium das Reservelazarett „L“ als Lazarett für alle bayerischen Hirnverletzten

verlegt. Die Verwaltung des Lazaretts wurde überwiegend von hirnverletzen Patienten des Lazaretts selbst erledigt. Sie gründeten am 18. Februar 1920 den „Verein deutscher hirnver-

letzter Krieger in Bayern e.V.“, nachdem es Franz Schwaiger auf der Delegiertentagung des Reichsbundes (heute SoVD) am 5. Januar 1920 nicht gelungen war, eine Sonderbetreuung innerhalb des Reichsbundes zu erhalten. Am 16. März 1920 wurde der „Verein deutscher hirnverletzter Krieger in Bayern, Sitz München“ ins Vereinsregister beim Amtsgericht München, Band 17/33, eingetragen.
