| Description |
English: Buildwas Abbey nave The abbey dates mainly from the 12th century, and was for a few short years a Savignac house, but became a Cistercian house when the two orders merged in 1147. As one of the smaller religious houses in England and Wales, it was dissolved in 1535. By then, there were only seven monks living here. |
