Magyar: a Moszkvába tervezett, de soha el nem készült Szovjetek Palotájának makettje a szovjet pavilonban. English: Model of the never-built Palace of Soviets in Moscow. By 1949 the idea was abandoned, but some public display of the pre-WW2 design - like this show in Hungary - kept the failed dream alive. Curiously, the model shown here depicts the reference 1937-1939 design, which was superceded by the so-called (distinctly different) Sverdlovsk variant in 1943-1944 Русский: Модель Дворца Советов на выставке 1949 года в Венгрии. Изображён канонический вариант Дворца 1938-1939 годов - тогда как в 1944 его уже сменил визуально отличный "свердловский вариант". Но к 1949 году всем уже было всё равно.
