Summary[edit]

Description
English: Bucharest trolleybus 5002 was originally built as a motorbus, by Saurer in 1970, for the Geneva (Switzerland) transit system, in whose fleet it was number 442. It was acquired by RATB in Bucharest in 1991, and was converted into a trolleybus by RATB in 1996. It is shown in service on route 73, still wearing (old) Geneva livery. It was one of 22 such vehicles in RATB's fleet (5001–5022), which normally operated only on routes 73, 74 and 76. The last ones were retired in late 2007.
