Description
Français : Planisphère physique où l'on voit du pôle septentrional ce que l'on connoit de terres et de mers, soit en terreins de fleuves inclinés vers chaque mer, et partagent les mers par une suite de montagnes marines indiquées par les isles, rochers ou vigies.

Original publié dans Philippe Buache, Essai de Géographie physique, où l'on propose des vues générales sur l'espèce de Charpente du Globe, composée des chaînes de montagnes qui traversent les mers comme les terres; avec quelques considérations particulières sur les différens bassins de la mer, et sur sa configuration intérieure, Mémoires de l'Académie royale des sciences, 1752, p. 399-416, carte à la suite de la p. 416.

Comme l'indique le texte à gauche de la carte, celle-ci contient plusieurs additions. Elle a été publiée en 1756. Toutes deux sont gravées par Desbruslins.
