Summary[edit]

Description
English: Bacillus thuringiensis cotton (also called Genetically Modified Cotton or GM Cotton or Bt cotton) acceptance and Farmer Suicides time trend in India.

Bt cotton was introduced in 2002. Crop coverage increased thereafter. The secondary Y-axis shows thousands of hectares dedicated to Bt cotton for the specific year.
