English: Bruno Lieske, 1945. Lieske was one of the most important persons in the communist worker's sports movement. Already in charge at the Association for Worker's physical education in 1913, he continued his work after WW I. One of the founders of the Red Sports International (RSI). Here seen at a public event in August 1945 in Berlin.
Deutsch: Bruno Lieske, 1945. Lieske war einer der wichtigsten Köpfe der kommunistischen deutschen Arbeitersportbewegung in der Weimarer Republik. Bereits 1913 arbeitete er als Funktionär des ATSB. Nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg setzte er seine Arbeit fort. Er war einer der Gründer der Roten Sportinternationale (RSI). Das Foto zeigt ihn auf einem Arbeitersporttreffen im August 1945 in Berlin.
