Drilling operations to verify the status of the Bruin Lagoon hazardous waste cleanup in Bruin, Pennsylvania. This site was contaminated with heavy metals, sulfuric acid and crude oil waste. It was stabilized using funds provided by the Superfund program. This picture is of engineers drilling out a soil sample to check its condition.
