Quinn, a combat medic from San Martin, Calif., assigned to Troop C, 1st Squadron, 32nd Cavalry Regiment, Task Force Bandit, of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, screams after a shower with cold bottled water Jan. 25 at Observation Post Mustang in eastern Afghanistan’s Kunar province. Since there are no showers at the observation post, Soldiers like Quinn have to take cold showers with bottled water to stay clean. |
