Bronze Age Barbed and Tanged Arrowhead
Description
English: An incomplete barbed and tanged flint arrowhead of Early Bronze Age date (2150 BC-1500 BC). The tip of the tang, one barb and the point are missing due to breaks. These breaks appear to be old. It has removals along the edge of one side only and the whole object is off-white patinated. 25.7 x 25.0 x 4.1mm; Weight: 2.98g. Its shape, in plan, does not precisely fall into one of Green's categories for arrowheads. See Butler 2005: 162-165.
