Title
Bronze Age Barbed and Tanged Arrowhead
Description
English: A small barbed and tanged flint arrowhead of early Bronze Age date. The arrowhead measures 21.26mm by 17.28mm by 4.55mm and weighs 1.34g. The arrowhead has been made from a flake, which was invasively retouched on both sides by pressure flaking. Its small size, light weight and large length to breath ratio place it as a Sutton type (Butler 2005, pp. 162-3). The light brownish-cream flint has a low-gloss patina.
