Description
Русский: Плакат британских интервентов времён Гражданской войны. Текст: Мои русские друзья! Я, англичанин, в имя нашего общего союзного дела, прошу вас: еще немного продержитесь такими молодцами, какими были всегда. Я доставлял и еще безгранично доставлю все, что вам будет нужно и, самое главное, доставлю вам новое оружие, которое истребит этих отвратительных, кровожадных красных чудовищ.
English: Poster issued by British intervention forces during the Russian Civil War. The text is as follows: "My Russian friends! I, an Englishman, in the name of our Allied cause, ask you to endure for some more time, courageous as you've always been. I have delivered and will deliver infinitely everything you need; what is more, I will deliver you new weapons to exterminate those repulsive bloodthirsty Red monsters". The banner with the handprint would later appear in J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium as the banner of the Uruk-hai.
