  • Photograph of a group of Hopi Indians bringing green boughs for the Snake Kisi for the Moki snake dance ceremony in the village of Mishongnovi, Second Mesa, Arizona, ca.1900.
  • Indians can be seen at center as they carry large bunches of tree branches on their backs.
  • Several adobe or stone buildings are visible in a line that extends from the foreground to the background at left. A ladder leans against one in the background. A man on horseback can be seen in the background at right.
