English: Bridleway, Sandpit Wood This bridleway once ran between two commons, Streat and Plumpton which were both enclosed in the 17th century. The woodbanks remain here on either side clearly demarcating the route through the wood. The bridleway heads north from Upper Streat Green to St Helena Lane. |
