Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: Bridge over the A24 The old western exit of Washington which was replaced sometime in the 18th century by the current A283. Now an access route for the houses and cottages around Rowdell. The bridge was built in 1967-68 when the Washington by-pass was constructed and carries the South Downs Way over the main road though there is a more dangerous crossing further to the south. |
