Summary[edit]

Description	English: This image depicts the view of the bridge pylons (crossing the Shenandoah River) next to the segment of the Appalachian Trail that passes through Harper's Ferry and the C&O canal towpath. The pylons are right next to the border of West Virginia and Maryland, and shows a stark contrast to the currently operational B&O railway bridge that is on the opposite side of the trail (not pictured).
