| Description |
English: Bridge 178 and Black Jack's Lock, Grand Union Canal, Harefield, Middlesex Black Jack's Lock takes its name from the adjoining Black Jack's Mill, once a flour mill but now an Italian restaurant. Although not the same building, this mill goes back to Domesday times when it was operated by the eponymous miller, who was so called due to his cruel treatment of his donkey. |
