Summary[edit]
DescriptionBride 13 (1920) - 17.jpg |
English: Advertisement for the American film serial Bride 13 (1920) with an unidentified actress, on page 16 of the October 2, 1920 Exhibitors Herald. The American submarine USS S-5 (SS-110) was nearly lost on 1 September 1920, but the crew escaped without loss. During the escape the battery room was flooded and chlorine gas was released. The ad refers to this event (parts of the film was shot on a different submarine) with the caption, "Ruth trapped in a sinking submarine with chlorine gas." The cast list does not indicate who played Ruth. |
