Summary[edit]

Description
English: This is true backcountry travel: no roads and no trails. The Sushana riverbed is a shallow braided stream, and hiking up and down it required that we cross flowing channels dozens of times, or even walk right down it. We did this for about eighteen miles in each direction, stopping only briefly to eat.
