Français : Château de Fougères, Ille-et-Vilaine, Bretagne, France. La première enceinte, appelée "avancée", permettait de filtrer les entrées au château. L'accès à la seconde enceinte, en arrière-plan, se fait par un pont qui enjambe un fossé inondable. À droite du pont, se dresse la Tour de Coigny.
English: Castle of Fougères, Ille-et-Vilaine, Bretagne, France. The first enclosure was used for filtering entry into to the fortress. Access to the second enclosure, in the background, is through a bridge crossing a floodable ditch. The Coigny Tower stands on the right of the bridge. |
