| Description |
English: Brenen Cathedral from the east, drawing from about 1820. left of it the small two-storey tower called Glocke. Deutsch: Der Bremer Dom um 1820 aus Ostsüdost, damals aus dem Baumhof. Das Querschiff hat noch ein Schleppdach (seit dem Mittelalter und bis 1888). Die unteren Ostfenster wurden dann in der ersten Hälfte des 19. Jh. zugemauert. Die Mauern des Nordturms waren schon etwa so hoch wie heute. Die niedrige Darstellung erklärt sich, wenn die Position des Zeichners sich näher am Gebäude befand, als die perspektivische Darstellung des Kirchenschiffs suggeriert. Das zweigeschossige achteckige Türmchen links neben dem Kirchenschiff ist die Glocke. |
