Der den Bürgerpark tragende Verein finanziert sich zu nicht unerheblichen Teilen durch die Bürgerpark-Tombola, deren Buden jedes Jahr auf dem Bahnhofsplatz stehen. Hauptgewinne sind i. d. R. Autos. Reisen mit der DB scheint eher nicht als ein Gewinn betrachtet zu werden.
