Description
English:
Lake island wooden footbridge from south. IN the park created three gardens: the Sun, Moon and Peace Garden. The 'garden of the moon' is the area around the restored lake. Since the Rába River has not penetrated the former floodplain forest with its life-giving floods for many decades, and its normal water level has also dropped by meters due to the "river bed treatment", water supply had to be provided as a new element to preserve the water-thirsty flora of the historical garden. To this end, a meandering sparkling stream was established in the wooded part of the garden, with bridges, culverts and a water abstraction plant. - ~Mansion Park Nature Protected Area of Körmend, Vas County, Hungary.

Tó sziget, fahíd D felől. A Hold kertje a helyreállított tó körüli terület. Mivel a Rába-folyó hosszú évtizedek óta nem járja be éltető áradásaival az egykori ártéri erdőt, és a „mederkezelés” folytán normál vízszintje is métereket süllyedt, új elemként vízutánpótlásról is gondoskodni kellett a történeti kert vizet szomjazó flórájának megőrzésére. Ennek érdekében meanderező szikkasztó-patak létesült a kert erdősült részén, hidakkal, átereszekkel és vízkivételi művel. Clusius tanösvény mentén. - Őrségi Nemzeti Park Igazgatóság. Körmendi-kastélypark TT. Területe: 37,8 ha. A földutakon és murvával beszórt sétányokon bejárható tanösvény érinti a várkert kis szigettel rendelkező 1880-as évek elején létesíttett csónakázó tavát (Hattyúk tava??).
