Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Albert Bouwers concentric meniscus telescope patented it in February of 1941. This catadioptric telescope design had the spherical mirror and spherical negative meniscus lens with all surfaces concentric with a common radius of curvature (C). The design had an ultra wide field of view but did not correct chromatic aberration and was only suitable as a monochromatic astronomical camera.
